Who is Tarot Professionals?

Tarot Professionals was founded by Marcus Katz, M.A., M.B.A., PhD Candidate (Western Esotericism, University of Exeter). He has been studying, reading and teaching Tarot for 30 years. His first Tarot book, Tarosophy, will be published in Summer 2010.

One Week Tarot Experiences from the Tarosophy™ University

The Gated Spread Method is an innovative approach to Tarot that engages the cards with your life for truly profound insight and experience. We offer these fully mentored experiences throughout the year, each lasting 1-week and created in a modular fashion. All experiences include specific teaching on aspects of the Tarot, counting towards credits in the Tarosophy™ University.

The courses are online, via email and forum (optional), and require approx. 10 minutes - 1 hr per day depending on your involvement. Mentoring can be provided also by Skype.

2010 Schedule

Feb 7th - Feb 14th: The Gates of Valentine, Tarot for relationships, particular study of the Court Cards. Discover the ability of Tarot to explore your relationship to not only your partner(s), friends, family and colleagues, but to life itself. A new way of experiencing the wisdom of the Tarot and hearing its true voice.

Mar 21st - Mar 28th: The Resurrection Engine, Tarot for recovering what is dead, particular study of Kabbalah and Tarot through the Major Arcana. Recover something you thought you had lost in your life through the rigours of the Resurrection Engine. Not for the faint-hearted.

May 1st - May 8th: The Garden of Forking Paths , Tarot for Creativity, particular study of the Hero/ine's Journey and Layouts. All practicipants will emerge from the fires with at least one (if not many) new creations, whether a book, poetry, art... suprise yourself as Tarot unlocks your Creative Fire for Beltane!

July 10th - July 17th: The Palace of the Phoenix , Tarot and Alchemy, particular study of Alchemical symbolism, history and usage in cards. Also includes FREE copy of the Alchemical Amphitheatre 148-page book (PDF) on Alchemy by Marcus Katz. This week course uses the Alchemical Tarot by world-renowned Tarot scholar Robert M. Place and all students will get a large discount on purchasing the deck. Robert Place will also guest mentor at one point during the week! Gain new insight into the process of Alchemy as spiritual ascent through the Tarot and transmute your life!
